Drawing from 17 years of professional experience in graphic design, youth work, counselling, community development and managing drug prevention and treatment services, Groundswell enables dynamic and effective health and design solutions.
The duality of health promotion and graphic design will ensure that health services and the community have access to counselling, drug education and team building workshops whilst businesses now have access to a graphic design studio, creating websites, logos, business cards and signage.
Operating from the beautiful coastal town of Anglesea in Victoria, Paul Weight has built a fully outfitted studio for digital and traditional design, client meetings and counselling. Groundswell also provides outreach services like consultancy, counselling and drug education. Paul Weight is fully qualified and experienced, having a degree in visual arts (graphic design) and graduate diplomas in education, management, alcohol and other drugs.
Paul has received 2 regional awards for best contribution and making a difference in 2004 & 2005 and a national award for excellence in services for young people at the National Alcohol and Drug Awards in Sydney 2006. Paul has presented at numerous regional, state, national and international conferences on health and welfare issues and established many health and youth services in Geelong and surrounding communities.
The name Groundswell is symbolic of change and energy traditionally harnessed for surfing and now for businesses and community development.
